US Army Vet Deported To Mexico Following Drug Conviction

Miguel Perez, A US army veteran has been deported to Mexico following a decision by US authorities to deny Perez’s citizenship request due to a felony drug conviction.  Perez served two tours in Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD.

Perez was as found guilty of delivering cocaine to an undercover police officer in 2008.

He was escorted across the US-Mexico border in Texas and delivered to Mexican authorities on Friday.
