Phoenix Mom Wakes Her Son Up For Church With A Taser
A mother in Phoenix has been arrested on one count of child abuse after she allegedly used a taser to wake her son up for Easter church services on Sunday.
The mother, Sharon Dobbins, 40, allegedly gave her 17 year old son a jolt on his left leg with a “contact Taser”, Fox 10 reports.
Dobbins informed law enforcement that she “only sparked the taser” and did not use the device on her son, however a family member who claimed to have witnessed the incident told authorities a different story.
The woman’s son had two bumps on his leg where the taser made contact. He did not want to testify against his mother.
Dobbins has reportedly been released from jail with the stipulation that she cannot “initiate any contact with the arresting officer” or “possess any weapons, including a Taser,” a judge said.
