Maryland High School Shooter Dies After Exchanging Fire With An Officer

The Maryland School Shooter who shot and wounded two students at Great Hills High School in Maryland On Tuesday has died after exchanging gunfire with a school security officer the county sheriff said.

The school day was just under way when a student who has yet to be identified shot a male and female student at Great Mills High School in St. Mary’s County.  The campus security officer then intervened and traded gunfire with the shooter.

The two victims are currently in critical condition at hospitals.

The officer involved was not harmed in the exchange and the school’s 1,600 students were escorted off campus by police to reunite with their parents at another high school.
