Dog Dies After United Flight Attendant Places It In The Overhead Bin

“Please make sure all your items are properly stowed in the overhead bins” probably was not intended for this poor pup when a United Airlines flight attendant mistakenly left the dog in the bin for duration of the flight.  Passengers aboard the flight stated that they heard barking, but did not know that the dog had died until the plane landed at LaGuardia Airport in New York.  The dog was apparently in a small pet carrier that was designed to fit under an airplane seat.  United Airlines has taken full responsibility for the incident .
