DEVELOPING- Maryland High School On Lockdown Following School Shooting

Following the wave of school shootings that have swept our nation in 2018, A Maryland High School is currently on lockdown following a school shooting.

Police, FBI, and ATF agents are reportedly on the scene at Great Mills High School in the southern part of the state of Maryland.  The school has stated the the incident is currently contained, and is urging parents to go to a neighboring high school that is currently confirmed as safe.

Initial reports state that several people have been shot.  It is unconfirmed whether there are any fatalities as a result of the shooting.

The shooting takes place just four days before the March For Our Lives event, a protest event that will take place in Washington to sway lawmakers into passing stricter gun control laws.

The Governor Of Maryland Larry Hogan has stated that he is currently monitoring the situation at the school saying- “Our prayers are with students, school personnel, and first responders,”
