Airline Staff Member Found With 9lbs of Cocaine Strapped To His Legs

A member of an airlines flight crew is facing federal charges after having been arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle 9 pounds of cocaine into the US.

Customers officials stated that they found the cocaine taped around the mans legs after they conducted a search at at JFK Airport in New York on Saturday.

US Customs and Border Protection has identified the man as Hugh Hall, a Jamaican citizen and crew member for Fly Jamaica Airways.

The cocaine that was found on Hall has an estimated street value of nearly $160,000 USD.

Leon Hayward, the acting directory of CBPs New York Field Operations said proudly

“This seizure is another example of our CBP officers being ever vigilant in protecting the United States from the distribution of illicit drugs,”

Hall is is now facing several Narcotics Smuggling Charges.
